Her team began a large-scale information architecture redesign project over two years ago with the goal of improving the ability of employees to find information on the corporate intranet through the general portal, MSWeb.

Vivian has been at Microsoft, designing organization systems and facilitating access to information since 1997. She holds a master's degree from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

She also holds a law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law. This background is the perfect resource for her second passion - intellectual property issues in cyberspace.
